INSTRUCTIONS / for a « Screwdriver » Coffee Set It has been asked to five porcelain hand painters over Europe to create a unique sample of a coffee set with this only pictures as procedure to execute it. This work is to create a possible gap between the process of the subjective touch of and handmade work with a final frozen computerized rendu, a protocole which will come to different interpretations and representations regard to the cultural context : choice of the color, shapes and transparency. PETER MINUIT (MONKEY DEAL)Using Bumper Sticker american's culture to make my way back to american's roots, I printed comic statement as sticker about the construction of the myth of the country when Peter Minuit (1580-1638) bought the island of Manhattan for 60 guilders from the indians. The monkey reference is linked to MoMO galerie happening from the artist with a monkey puppet in NYC, the unfair trade and as also playing with mass culture american character as KingKong.All the sticker have been printed in Harlem Printing office.6 août 2015 /
